Assembly Technician (f/m/d) for Transformers

Your responsibilities

As an Assembly Technician (f/m/d) for transformers you install, maintain and repair large power transformers in shift operation. Working in an experienced team you build units for worldwide use. Your assignment along the production line is based on skills and daily demand.

Your tasks

• Provide and compile parts and materials (core sheets, clamping devices, tie-rods) according to bills of materials and technical drawings
• Prepare and exchange tools, set up assembly stations (e.g. core stacking area)
• Identify, eliminate and document process disruptions and forward findings
• Measure delivered parts, record rework and scrap
• Assemble, re-tighten and secure active parts following drawings and functional descriptions
• Verify dimensional accuracy, carry out adjustments and repairs under expert guidance

Your qualifications

• Completed vocational training as mechatronics technician (f/m/d), industrial mechanic (f/m/d) or comparable qualification
• Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• First experience in heavy machinery manufacturing
• Desirable: crane licence for overhead cranes and basic electrical knowledge
