Offshore Automation Engineer (German Speaker)

Your Role

As an Offshore Automation Engineer you will troubleshoot and maintain automation systems of HVDC offshore grid connections. Working within the warranty team at onshore stations and converter platforms in the North and Baltic Seas, you diagnose control, protection and network components and correct technical documentation. Extensive training in Hamburg and willingness to travel for national and Northern-European projects complete your scope of duties.

Your Qualifications

• Degree in electrical, electronic or automation engineering
• At least 5 years of professional experience in automation technology
• Proficient in PCS7 and HMI; Simatic S7, T3000, WinCC, COPA-DATA Zenon skills welcome
• Fluent German and good English
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally and to work offshore
• Class B driving licence
• Ready to complete up to 2 years of training at Siemens Energy office in Hamburg
