Mechatronics Apprenticeship at Vestas – Start 01 September 2026

Launch your apprenticeship at Vestas – the global leader in wind energy.

You will complete a 4-year programme packed with real responsibility. Year 1: hands-on basics in metalwork and electrical engineering at our training workshop in Husum. Years 2 & 3: field assignments with service teams at wind turbines across Germany. Year 4: back in Husum to prepare for your IHK final examination.

Your tasks

• Install, maintain and repair wind turbines
• Replace major components, repair rotor blades, manufacture and test parts
• Support turbine commissioning and software programming

Your profile

• Good secondary-school leaving certificate, technical college entrance or A-levels
• Enthusiasm for maths & physics and strong manual skills
• Team player with very good German and good English, written and spoken
