Job Description

Preparation of the technical documentation for piping components, supports and systems for RFQ and PO process, technical evaluation of bids and joint selection of suppliers:

- Understanding of technical contractual requirements;

- Supervision of suppliers throughout the project implementation phase;

- Conduction of quality reviews to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project requirements;

- Preparing/defending of claims with Discipline Engineering Manager;

- Reviewing supplier documentation to meet high-quality engineering project-specific documents;

- Supporting erection team during construction and commissioning by addressing issues within the assigned lots

Qualifications

- 5+ years’ experience in similar position in large EPC projects

- Very good product knowledge, i.e. expertise in piping materials, codes and standards (ASME / EN), prefabrication, cleaning, erection, quality assurance (workshop and erection) including pressure test

- Project execution background, paired with problem-solving mindset and efficient performance

- Ability to develop guidelines and standards for defined areas of knowledge

- Fluency English, Italian is a plus

- Willingness to travel to supplier locations or site up to 10% of the time Senior Piping Engineer

- Solid technical background and good knowledge of Waste plants piping is a plus
