Head of Tender Management (f/m/f) – Grid Solutions - FACTS

Your Responsibilities
As Head of Tender Management (f/m/f) you will lead a high-performing, agile team at the heart of the energy transition. You will own the full tender lifecycle for FACTS projects up to hand-over to execution, devise strategies to sharpen competitiveness and drive continuous process improvements. Close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Project Management ensures high-quality, cost-optimised and risk-mitigated bids.

Key Tasks

• Build, lead and coach an international team of tender managers
• End-to-end bid process control including cost calculation, risk analysis and contract negotiation
• Interact with top management, customers and partners; represent the department in meetings and client presentations
• Standardise and automate tender processes to increase efficiency
• Monitor market and competitor trends to derive strategic measures
• Establish robust lessons-learned structures and knowledge sharing

Your Profile

• University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
• Proven leadership record and demonstrable success in tender or project management within power transmission, ideally FACTS
• In-depth expertise in EPC turnkey projects, international contract structures and risk management
• Confident appearance at executive level and strong customer focus
• Excellent command of English; German language skills advantageous
• Willingness to travel internationally
