HVDC Service Station Manager (US)

Your Day in a Nutshell

As Station Manager for the HVDC Offshore Service Team you will lead the first HVDC service project in the US. Representing Siemens Energy on site, you control a local technical team and ensure reliable operation and maintenance of the grid-connection system.

You plan and coordinate daily site activities, act as the central contact for customers, authorities and partners, and work closely with project management and the back office.

How You Make an Impact

• Drive “Zero Harm” culture; enforce EHS regulations.
• Control service orders, schedules and quality; lead technicians.
• Incident response, condition diagnostics, fault and alarm analysis.
• Progress reports, action coordination, risk management.
• Spare-parts management, outage planning, emergency organization, maintenance databases.
• Align with project management, stakeholders and engineering (including Germany).

Two qualified electricians support you as the Local Technical Support Team. Work is centered onshore; offshore deployment occurs as required.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• ≥ 5 years’ experience in service, maintenance or project execution in transmission/power generation.
• Willingness to obtain GWO offshore certification and HUET training; proficient in lock-out/tag-out.
• Solid knowledge of transformers, switchgear, converter and HVDC technology.
• Experience with long-term service contracts, self-perform work and client relations.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 %.

Location: New York. Salary range: USD 150,000–175,000 per year plus 15 % annual bonus (based on qualification and experience).
