As part of the dynamic Siemens Digital Core team, you drive the energy transition by creating secure, cost-effective environments for developing and manufacturing our innovative solutions. Your days are diverse: in the morning you translate cybersecurity guidelines into security designs aligned with enterprise architects; in the afternoon you assess IAM infrastructures, uncover gaps, and guide the team toward remediation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Analyse and define interactions among business processes, tools, data, and technologies
• Establish architecture principles, standards, guardrails, reference models, and best practices
• Evaluate business requirements and prepare architecture decisions
• Apply Siemens Energy architecture methods to shape the target landscape
• Contribute to IAM roadmaps and program definitions from a security viewpoint
• Define technology constraints and provide reference architectures
• Facilitate IT solution architecture reviews
• Use identity-centric threat modeling and risk frameworks to prevent privilege escalation, identity fraud, and unauthorized access

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field – or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in IT security, including 3+ years in solution architecture
• Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Microsoft Active Directory, Okta, EntraID
• Deep knowledge of IAM disciplines: authentication, authorization, monitoring, governance
• Proficiency in directory services, LDAP, and cloud IAM (e.g., AWS IAM, Entra ID)
• Understanding of security protocols (SSL/TLS, IPsec) and standards (ISO 27001, NIST)
• Demonstrated impact across IGA, AC, PAM, identity intelligence, Zero Trust
• Expertise in federation protocols: SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM
• Proven integration of IAM with AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem systems
