Gamesa Electric is a world leader in the design and manufacture of electrical equipment, with extensive experience in photovoltaic, hydroelectric, marine propulsion, wind and energy storage applications, among others.In April 2017, Gamesa merged Siemens Wind to form Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. Gamesa Electric is a 100% subsidiary of this merged company.From the Programs department, we are looking for an Industrial Platform Manager to join our center in San Fernando de Henares, Madrid.

How to contribute to our vision:

We are looking for an Industrial Platform Director, fully responsible for the successful execution of Power Electronics development projects. You will be part of a high-performance team responsible for the new generation of industrial platforms for the development of auxiliary converters for Offshore wind turbines.

  • The Platform Manager manages projects with responsibility for satisfactory execution.
  • Executes the project within defined requirements (e.g. budget, time, functionality).
  • Ensures business success and internal customer satisfaction and ensures professional management of interested parties.
  • Ensures timely decisions are made on outstanding issues, escalating them if necessary.
  • In the engineering context:
  • Manages a network of technical specialists to develop client-specific components.
  • Coordinates engineering disciplines and cooperation with the regional engineering units involved, including their interfaces.
  • Performs technical risk management.
  • Supports the complete product life cycle.

What you need to make a difference:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Valuable PMI Certification
  • Tools: Planisware, Microsoft Project, Office, Word, SAP
  • Previous experience: Between 2-5 years of experience in developing the functions described above.
  • Advanced level English (B2).
  • Availability to travel internationally sporadically.
  • Driving license.
