Lead Engineer Switchgear (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

As Lead Engineer you assume overall technical responsibility for the design and implementation of complex switchgear projects in our Naval & Maritime Solutions division. You develop innovative solutions, ensure full compliance with all standards and coordinate customer requirements as well as supplier interfaces.

Key tasks

• Planning and design of AC and DC switchgear assemblies and switchgear combinations
• Analysis of customer specifications and execution of requirements engineering
• Development of innovative technical proposals and continuous product improvement
• Coordination and definition of all interfaces with customers and suppliers
• Coordination and supervision of function tests and factory acceptance tests (FAT)
• Participation in technical reviews and release of project documentation

Your profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, preferably with focus on power engineering
• Several years of professional experience in the engineering of switchgear and switchgear combinations
• Desirable: experience in shipbuilding or maritime environment
• Business-fluent German and English
• Willingness to undergo security clearance according to the German Security Screening Act
