Lifting Equipment Technician

Vattenfall Hydropower is looking for a Lifting Equipment Technician. Together we operate and maintain Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and about 300 dams across the Nordics.

Your tasks

• Assembly, installation and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting of cranes, overhead travelling cranes, hoists and other lifting devices
• Maintenance and modernization of lifting gear
• Updating maintenance systems, documentation and scheduling
• Advising on improvements regarding equipment and routines
• Safety matters related to inspections, regulations and statutory requirements
• Regular travel to our power plants throughout Sweden, often including overnight stays

We are looking for you who have

• Upper-secondary education in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Experience of industrial machine maintenance
• Meriting: previous work with lifting gear, troubleshooting and schematic reading
• Category B driving licence, good command of Swedish and preferably English
• Good computer skills and familiar with various software systems

Personal qualities

You take responsibility, are thorough, safety-conscious and used to planning and working independently. Since the job involves travelling and meeting many different people you need to be open, service-minded and good at creating new collaborations.

Permanent position with flexible location in Västerbotten, Jämtland, Västernorrland or Gävleborg. State your preferred town in your application.
