About You and The Role   You will serve as the  senior business partner to Zipline's Manufacturing teams (supply chain, material planning, production, and logistics). This role is on the Strategic Finance team, which is responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives at Zipline to achieve profitable unit economics and to deploy every dollar efficiently. We own strategic planning and reporting, as well as the company’s 5-year operating plan – financing to pricing, system cost and efficiency, hiring plan, production/capex, and other non-personnel expenses.  You will play a critical role in guiding senior Operations leaders to scale the manufacturing of Platform 1 and Platform 2 globally in a sustainable way (zips, droids, charging, and fulfillment infrastructure). This includes designing processes that identify operational improvements and enable efficient financial decisions (e.g. Sales & Operations Planning). You will help enhance Zipline’s manufacturing and supply chain strategies for Platform 2, and develop financial models to help profitably supply the world’s largest autonomous logistics network. What You'll Do   Serve as a business partner to Manufacturing Operations, which includes production, supply chain, logistics, and material planning; advise leaders across the company on Zipline’s product and operational strategy. Develop financial models that assess the financial impact of various operational strategies and scenarios. Use these models to support long-term planning, strategy, and resource allocation. Define system requirements required to enable real-time, data driven decision Develop models that inform manufacturing strategy and inventory management across the globe. Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute financial insights to enhance operational strategies and identify opportunities for cost savings. Partner with engineering, deployment and operations teams to assess the financial feasibility of scaling new transformative products.  You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, define, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide actionable insights into manufacturing efficiency, supply chain performance, and operational effectiveness. You will develop and maintain comprehensive operational reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.  What You'll Bring  You have 5+ years of experience in operational finance or similar. You are comfortable serving as a “general athlete” that can do a little bit of everything!
