Manufacturing Tech Core Molding Wed-Sat Nights (Permanent)

Your Day at a Glance

In this role you mold and demold shell blocks for core manufacturing. Tasks include cleaning and preparing liners, assembling and transferring blocks to ovens, operating vibration/vacuum chambers and induction slurry heating/mixing equipment. All molding tasks follow production specifications to deliver exceptional-quality parts at the Gibsonton, Florida facility.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Complete the Demonstrated Skills Checklist for Mercury molding & demolding technician
• Complete LOTO training for relevant equipment and obtain forklift certification
• Review daily molding schedule, prepare work area, coordinate updates with Core Supervision
• Assemble blocks per engineering specs, manoeuvre shell blocks through multiple process steps
• Set/adjust machines, perform troubleshooting, raise work orders for faulty equipment, verify calibration records
• Carry out additional duties and cross-training as needed

What You Bring

• High-school diploma or GED
• Ability to read engineering instructions
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Export licence from US Departments of Commerce/State required; eligibility to work with export-controlled technology
