Defines and coordinates implementation of defined Project(JeonNam1) Marine(EHS) measures within assigned organization (local unit).

About the Role:

As a Marine Coordinator for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy at Jeonnam 1, South Korea’s first commercial-scale offshore wind farm, you will be instrumental in supporting marine operations and ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency are upheld during the construction and maintenance phases of the project.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage marine coordination services in line with contractual obligations, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and maintenance of vessel and personnel certifications.Manage RFID card issuance for vessel boarding, track arrivals to the site, and supervise exclusion zones in conjunction with marine and port authorities.Coordinate the dispatch of vessels and technicians, optimize available time at the wind farm site, and assist in navigation support and notification processes for marine traffic.Respond to emergencies in coordination with the Emergency Response Plan, offering essential support in various situations, including employer, emergency services, government agencies, or statutory bodies.Monitor environmental aspects, reporting spills, and maintaining communication with environmental agencies.Implement good practices and safety within port operations, manage bridge booking procedures, and liaise with local marine stakeholders.Utilize weather forecasting tools to make informed "sail or no sail" decisions, effectively communicating weather-related operational changes to relevant parties. 

Description:

* Coordinates implementation of defined measures according to relevant (corporate) Vessel operation & Scheduling guidelines and regulations locally. * Monitors existing and potential Vessel operation & Scheduling (EHS Acting) concerns and recommends priorities for resolution. * Analyzes statistical information regarding Vessel operation & Scheduling (EHS Acting) and gives advice and recommendation for appropriate measures. * Decides measures for remedial action. * Initiates and co-ordinates collection and consolidation of necessary data for effective Vessel operation & Scheduling (EHS) reporting. * Supports the responsible Management Team in all Vessel operation & Scheduling (EHS Acting) issues. * Coordinates dedicated EHS issues with accountable professionals within a segment or one site.
