Mechanical System Engineer

Your impact – at a glance

You take full mechanical and system-engineering ownership for new packaged rotating equipment in on- and offshore projects (e.g. gas-turbine compressors, electric-motor compressor trains, coolers and scrubbers). You support project engineers and customers, ensure consistently high engineering standards and accompany the equipment through warranty hand-over.

• Mechanical design and integration of compressor and process systems (lube-oil, fuel-gas, seal-gas) with electrical and automation technology
• Preparation of contractual P&IDs and wiring diagrams in COMOS
• Perform technical calculations (component sizing, flow analyses), write work instructions and red-line drawings for assembly
• Schedule and BOM management – on-time release of equipment specifications, bills of material and customer documentation
• Willingness to travel up to 10 %; professional customer communication as technical expert

What you need

• B.E./B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering with 1–5 years of experience in rotating equipment
• Ability to read, interpret and convert client specifications into manufacturing or procurement documents
• Experience with Teamcenter, NX, E3, COMOS, Jira and SAP advantageous; API614, API692 & API617 knowledge preferred
• Strong MS-Office skills
