NDT Inspector – Castings & Large Steel Fabrication

Your Day-to-Day

Within the global purchasing organization you will independently perform non-destructive testing on gas- and steam-turbine components at supplier sites. You execute inspections to specification, evaluate results from a technical and formal standpoint, and document findings clearly. If supplier results deviate, you describe discrepancies in technical terms, communicate them to stakeholders and agree next steps with a cross-functional team.

How You Will Drive Impact

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years NDT experience on cast parts and heavy steel fabrication
• ISO 9712 certification VT/MT/PT/UT minimum Level II (or equivalent)
• Proven use of 5-Why, FMEA, 8D, Root-Cause Analysis
• Confident communicator, team player, high willingness to travel
• Business-fluent English; SAP & MS Office skills
