Your Mission As Deployments Lead Africa you will own the construction and roll-out of new Zipline distribution centers across the continent. In this senior leadership role you will manage country project managers, create scalable deployment playbooks and ensure every site is delivered on time, on budget and to world-class quality – from site acquisition and permitting through construction, vendor management and operational hand-over. Your Responsibilities - Own strategy and execution for dozens of new African distribution centers - Coordinate Engineering, Supply Chain, Legal, Operations and Business teams globally - Site acquisition with real-estate partners and authorities - Build and manage supplier/contractor networks - Steer multi-country budgets, cost/schedule/risk trade-offs - Lead, coach and hire local deployment project managers - Capture lessons-learned to refine the global deployment playbook - Report KPIs, risks and progress to Africa & Global Leadership Your Profile - 8+ years in construction, engineering or program management; 3+ years leading managers or multi-country portfolios - Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale projects end-to-end - Experience building and leading distributed teams - Excellent project-management and organizational skills under pressure - Outstanding communication and stakeholder-management abilities - Systems thinker who designs scalable processes - Resilient, adaptable and willing to travel >50 % regionally - Eligible to work across multiple African countries Location: Africa with extensive regional travel.
