CNC Operator – Large Horizontal Boring Mill

Your day with us

We are looking for a new team member for our horizontal machining centre for large work pieces. You will set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools, perform milling, planing, broaching, slotting and pressing operations and maintain the required tolerances.

Your responsibilities

• Work according to drawings and standards; maintain machines, tools and fixtures
• Record process and quality data; define workflows, parameters and methods; mount and align work pieces and tools correctly
• Manufacture components from metallic materials; inspect finished parts using measuring and testing equipment
• Stop the process in case of unclear specifications or deviations; inform the supervisor proactively
• Bring reliability, diligence and a strong sense of responsibility
• Participate in LEAN initiatives: 5S, SMED, 7 types of waste

Your profile

• Completed vocational training in mechanical engineering with a CNC focus or comparable qualification combined with experience as a CNC milling-centre operator
• Ability to read drawings, apply measuring techniques and basic CNC-programming skills; PC literacy
• Team spirit, results orientation, problem-solving mindset
• Willingness to learn, self-initiative, flexibility to work in three-shift operation
