Planner Subcontractors

Operating within the Vestas Northern & Central Europe North and West business unit, we focus exclusively on selling, constructing, and operating onshore wind power plants. With offices in 6 countries including Scandinavia, UK and Ireland, Service Onshore NW is responsible for the service and maintenance of our customers' wind power plants in all of the markets.

Together with our colleagues throughout Vestas, we handle some of the largest operational projects, for some of the most complex customers in Europe. You would be joining the Sub-supplier Management team. We act as a regional partner, with the objective of making all needed activities in administration, ordering, onboarding, governance, and supporting sub-suppliers in their core business, thereby supporting the regional organization.

Responsibilities:

- Make sure subcontractor companies and organizations operate in full compliance with legal regulations and industry-specific guidelines in relation to specific countries in North (Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland) and West (UK and Ireland)

- Major focus will be Norway with particular attention to collaboration with Norwegian customers, however work will include compliance related tasks in all countries in North and West 

- In the event of regulatory risks or misconduct, address concerns and find solutions to these problems

- Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues highlighted in auditing reports and report back to business functions on current risk and compliance performance

- Keep up to date with, and understand, relevant compliance, laws and local regulations in individual countries

- Perform various administrative tasks (such as file creation and maintenance of ongoing administrative projects)

- Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance. Liaise with Procurement, Legal and Data Privacy departments, and ensure Vestas fulfils all its GDPR obligations

Qualifications:

- 2+ years prior experience in a risk management or compliance role with relevant academic qualifications

- Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies

- Proficient in the use of common computer applications and software such as programs within Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc). You should also be well-versed in data entry, report compilation, and answering virtual correspondence using different software applications

- Good Norwegian language skills and Norway residency is required

Competencies:

- Critical problem-solving ability. You'll often have to make decisions on the information available, which is not always in black and white

- An ability to process and interpret information quickly

- High independent working skills and good self-confidence when collaborating with customers and subcontractors

- Great communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both speaking and in writing, English is an obligation and additional Nordic languages would be a benefit

- Desirable to have experience with SAP and Salesforce

Additional information

Your work location will be our office in Trondheim, Norway. Some travel is to be expected in this role.
