Production Planner

A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

The Production Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of customer delivery requirements. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to decision-making. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to achieving results through effective planning, collaboration, and execution

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

·Plan and schedule production orders through Inspect and Advise and Repair operations to meet  customer due dates while optimizing resources, including equipment and workforce.

·Serve as the primary liaison between Customer Service and Production to identify resource constraints and develop actionable plans to meet customer needs.

·Ensure material availability to prevent production delays in collaboration with MRP (material requirements planning) controller.

·Partner with Engineering to maintain accurate operational standards.

·Develop and maintain capacity plans to support production requirements.

·Assess and communicate monthly shipping plans by product line to ensure alignment with customer commitments

What You Bring (requirements)

• B.S./B.A. degree preferred, or equivalent operations-related experience
• Minimum of 2 years in a related field with a thorough understanding of product flow and process steps for industrial gas turbine repair.
• Proficiency in ERP systems including SAP

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite including Project and Power BI
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
