Job Description

We're currently looking for a Project Coordinator to team up Northvolt's Industrialization Engineering in Gdansk! In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving and executing the industrialization of project scopes within the manufacturing team. From the inception of a project through to serial production, including the prototyping phase, you will lead efforts to ensure seamless transition and optimization of manufacturing processes. Northvolt Systems is a leading company in the field of sustainable battery manufacturing, committed to revolutionizing the energy sector with cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Lead and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring budget and timeline adherence.
• Coordinate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) efforts and provide feedback for optimized manufacturability.
• Oversee product introduction/change assessments and implementation, aligning with stakeholders.
• Organize industrialization activities across teams and develop launch plans.
• Translate engineering needs into actionable work packages and prioritize risk resolution.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have

• Relevant bachelor or master’s degree in engineering
• 2.5+ years of relevant experience as project manager or industrialization engineer in a fast moving and high demanding environment. Preferably within automotive, semiconductors, pharmaceutical or medical devices industries.
• The ability to travel - during launch phase travelling will potentially be up to 4-6 months in a row
• Working experience from a multi-cultural environment.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects at one time.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Suite
• Fluency in English

This facility, Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, will industrialize and produce world leading battery systems in order to meet the increased demand for complete battery solutions on the European market. The factory is a highly automated, state-of-the-art production facility for battery modules and energy storage solutions.

We are currently in an exciting fast-growing phase and operate in a dynamic environment, dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. We are staffing our international office in Stockholm, our R&D facility, Northvolt Labs in Västerås, as well as Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, in Gdansk, for production of battery systems. We are also preparing for upcoming positions at the main factory, Northvolt Ett, in Skellefteå.
