CPX (Customer Project Execution) is in charge of all wind farm projects from start to completion. The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once a contract has been signed and remains responsible until the final tests are completed. Working closely with sales, legal, logistics, procurement and finance departments, the CPX team has to keep the project on budge, on schedule and ensures our rigorous safety & quality standards are met.

Responsabilities:

  • Support the Project Manager on the project execution, based on the contract requirements regarding documentation, local legislation, the fulfillment of safety and environment procedures, from awareness to auditing process in order to guarantee service level agreements and compliance with regulations and company standards. Work towards project objectives alongside with Project Manager to ensure the key objectives for each project including profitability, cash flow and time.
  • Co-responsible along Project Manager and Site Manager for corporate obligations in terms of safety, health and environment.
  • Manage all the administrative aspects of the project. Forecast cash inflows and outflows monthly with input from the Project Manager. 
  • Responsible for project reporting and analytics, forecasting of time progress, financial performance and prepare presentation preparation of each project with transparency and reliability
  • Responsible for Project Technical support with different areas, drawings interpretation and revisions.
  • Manage technical and operational project matters, including the issuance of technical documents (e.g., 'ART').
  • Support Project Manager for establishing action and recovery plans to ensure compliance with internal targets and according to customer/ contract. 
  • Perform Risk and Opportunities assessment within the projects, including strategies, action plans and follow-up.
  • Support Site Manager for Site resource allocation / optimization and Site organization.
  • Prepare payment claims and raise it according to the reported cash flow and in accordance with the contract requirements
  • Maintain billing plan and ensure accuracy
  • Secure customer relationship, leading to increase customer satisfaction. Co-represent organization towards Customers and Subcontractors in projects related correspondences, meetings and negotiations.
  • Ensure that projects communication is adequately handled internally and externally.
  • Implement Vestas project management and site installation processes and procedures.
  • Provide support in the tendering phase - cost build up, risk assessment and matrix of responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Engineer´s degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil), master in project management and/or MBA will be also welcomed.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management teams and construction, preferably acquired in the wind industry or in the energy sector.
  • Experience in installation and EPC contracts. International experience will be a differential.
  • Contract management knowledge will be appreciated
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written English. Spanish would be an additional advantage.
  • SAP proficiency, Microsoft office package proficiency
