Project Manager (m/f/d) for High-Voltage Switchgear Projects

Your working day

As Project Manager (m/f/d) for high-voltage switchgear you will drive national projects to success. You establish project structures, schedule deliverables, control costs and lead interdisciplinary teams while complying with all safety, health and environmental regulations and proactively communicating with internal and external partners up to board level.

Your responsibilities
  • Project management and execution of national high-voltage switchgear projects (systems & extended systems)
  • Quotation preparation and technical support during contract negotiations with suppliers
  • Early, fact-based communication of potential result deviations across the organisation
  • Execution of all activities in compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations
  • Creation of project and schedule plans aligned with contractual milestones, ensuring project controlling
  • Project start-up planning and implementation as well as technical leadership of project teams
Your qualifications
  • University degree in electrical engineering or comparable technical education plus relevant professional experience
  • Several years of experience in engineering, commissioning and installation of high-voltage plants as well as in order execution and project management
  • Leadership experience and management of complex projects, preferably in the switchgear field
  • Knowledge of occupational safety regulations, claim & risk management and contract law
  • Certified Project Manager (e.g. PM@Siemens) desirable
  • Negotiation-level German, good English, strong communication and decision-making skills
