A Snapshot of Your Day

Proposals Development – Coordinate/Lead the bid development process for each opportunity from the Request for quotation sent by our customers until the delivery of the proposal document including the necessary approval steps, in a self-motivated way. Working with a broad internal stakeholder network and using Siemens Wind Power tools and internal approval processes to present and deliver value-based quotes to sales/customers, responding to customer requests for clarification and status, supporting the contract negotiations and presenting the customer´s expectations to our internal stakeholders.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead internal tender kick-off meeting to all stakeholders involved
• Coordinate with global counterparts’ relevant topics in order to prepare the bids
• Prepare high quality proposals’ risk assessments to management
• Develop customer offer/pricing strategies with Sales Managers, and subsequent contracts
• Continuous and actively seek and apply lessons learned and best practices to the proposal bid life cycle
• Support internal and external processes, initiatives and presentations for management

What You Bring

• BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically 5-7 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of topics presented above. Finance experience a plus. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.Fewer years of experience will be considered.Spanish and English required, Portuguese a plus
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills, Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions.
• Demonstrates initiative and result oriented
• Strong quality orientation with high attention to detail and data oriented.

About the Team

We are looking for a highly motivated Bid / Proposal Manager to work with our LATAM Sales team in Latin America working in a multicultural team based in Mexico City, Chile and Sao Paulo. Join an agile and highly engaged Sales team that favors creativity, promotes drive and enthusiasm, and fosters customer relationship building.

You will be working in the proposals team, developing competitive bids of services and maintenance contracts for LATAM and working together with the regional sales team to increase our competitiveness and quality in proposals preparation. You will be part of the highly motivated and strong self-performing team, and report directly to Head of Americas Proposals.
