QA Engineer

Your Responsibilities

• Build and maintain test-automation frameworks and automated tests for web platforms, focusing on Cypress.io
• Ensure quality via code reviews and coaching; advance QA processes
• Communicate with Product Owners and Project Managers to validate requirements
• Create test plans and execute smoke and regression tests (manual & automated)

Your Profile

• 4+ years as QA Automation Engineer with strong JavaScript skills
• Proven expertise in designing complex test plans and with Playwright
• Experience in API automation (Postman), agile workflows, and clear test-case documentation
• Availability for production deployments on alternating Fridays 4–7 pm PST
• Excellent English proficiency

Optional: Performance/security testing, Python/Go, or CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI).

Success Indicators

• After 2 weeks: Familiar with platform, teams, culture, tools and best practices
• After 4 weeks: First automated tests and expanded coverage
• After 6 weeks: Independently support a development team, maintain test suite, contribute to releases

Location & Contract

Permanent full-time role in Ho Chi Minh City under Vietnamese labor law, employed by Persefoni Vietnam entity.
