Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Quality Compliance Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Quality Compliance function, specifically the Quality Compliance team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in ensuring Quality Compliance and contribute to building one of the first large-scale European battery factories.

About The Job

Join our dynamic Quality Compliance team as a highly skilled and motivated Quality Compliance Engineer. Reporting to the Quality Compliance Manager, you'll assist in or lead audits, certify plants and products, and enforce policies for excellence. Your role involves aligning tests with regulations, training teams, and ensuring top-quality products. Area of responsibilities will also include collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions, integrating the conformity of production (COP) process, and contributing to environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

Step into the role of a skilled and motivated Quality Compliance Engineer, where you'll become a driving force in our dynamic Quality team. Reporting directly to the Quality Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring adherence to certification standards, executing essential testing procedures, and meticulously managing documentation and reporting processes. Your expertise will contribute to implementing corrective actions, integrating the conformity of production (COP) process, and actively participating in environmental compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Assure compliance with certification standards across the organization, encompassing ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and other relevant industry-specific benchmarks.
  • Conduct routine testing and inspections, verifying compliance and identifying avenues for enhancement.
  • Efficiently manage comprehensive documentation and reporting systems, pivotal for quality and environmental compliance activities.
  • Collaborate effectively in coordinating both internal and external audits, ensuring meticulous planning, seamless execution, and adept resolution of audit findings.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions, guaranteeing timely resolution of compliance-related concerns.
  • Participate actively in the integration of the conformity of production (COP) process throughout the Business Unit, aligning with industry norms and customer requisites.
  • Drive initiatives focused on Environmental Compliance, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and propelling continuous improvements in environmental performance.
  • Collaborate extensively with pertinent stakeholders, establishing and maintaining effective environmental management systems.
  • Facilitate awareness and understanding of quality, environmental, and COP compliance requisites across the organization, providing essential training and guidance when necessary.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, environmental compliance, and conformity of production, contributing insights to the Quality Compliance Manager.
  • Play a vital role in fostering a culture of excellence in quality and environmental compliance, fostering effective collaboration and communication.

About You

As a Quality Compliance Engineer, you will possess valuable experience in quality compliance management, adeptly implementing and sustaining certification standards. Your understanding of quality and environmental compliance requirements, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and conformity of production (COP) processes, will be instrumental. Your proficiency in compliance testing methodologies, audit practices, and documentation systems will ensure successful compliance efforts and continuous enhancement.

Skills & Requirements

We Believe That You Have

  • A relevant academic degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or similar roles, preferably within a dynamic manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in quality systems standards and frameworks, specifically ISO and IATF.
  • Experience working in the chemical manufacturing or a process driven industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive learning attitude.
  • Effective communication skills and an aptitude for successful collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage tasks under pressure and navigate multiple priorities.
  • Strong knowledge and/or experience in risk evaluation and investigation methodologies.
  • Knowledge of working towards automotive standard is preferred.
