Quality Engineer Investment Castings

Your Day-to-Day

As a Quality Engineer (f/m/d) for Investment Castings you combine project, quality and supplier management. You ensure the highest quality standards in the production of hot-gas components for gas turbines across the supplier network. Key tasks include continuous-improvement projects, on-site technical reviews at North-American suppliers and building trusted partnerships to meet quality and schedule targets in serial and new-product ramp-up.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Drive quality-improvement initiatives for hot-gas components at suppliers
• Lead continuous-improvement projects to reduce scrap and non-conformance costs
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure improvement milestones
• Lead cost- and lead-time reduction projects at external partners
• Support overall operational efficiency improvements
• Contribute to the technology roadmap to keep products future-proof

What You Bring

• Degree in Manufacturing, Materials or Mechanical Engineering
• Solid experience with quality methodologies and manufacturing management
• Proven cross-functional teamwork, preferably on turbine hot-gas parts
• Project-management competence, strong organisation and analytical thinking
• Intercultural skills and willingness to travel ~25 %
• US work authorisation without sponsorship; export-control: US citizen or Green Card required
