For our department in Esbjerg or Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a Repair Engineer to help with our direct drive (DD) generators.

How to contribute to our vision:

We are looking for an engineer to contribute to the development and creation of technical specifications and supplier homologation for repairs and refurbishments of electrical and electronic components.

In short, you will:

  • Give technical support on generator repairs done in the Esbjerg repair center.

  • Work on the development and creation of repair/refurbishment technical specifications and test specifications together with the module team.

  • Create work instructions and documentation for the repair center.

  • Screen and validate new repair solutions.

  • Support the Global Overhauls Solution Team achieving productivities.

  • Work closely together with other global service departments to align on priorities and DD generator repair strategy.

  • Support the quality team during the qualification process of new workshops worldwide.

What you need to make a difference:

Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

A person with hands-on and practical experience in the wind industry, focused on repairing or designing direct drive (DD) generators. Ideally, you have a background as maskinmester, or a bachelor in technology management, marine engineering, or similar but if you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.

As a person, you need to be dynamic, autonomous, proactive, customer-oriented, and have a practical mindset. You must be able to manage internal and external stakeholders and teams.

It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multicultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. Danish language skills would be considered an advantage as well.

You should be prepared for at least 40 travel days a year as you will be needed to visit suppliers, workshops, factories, or sites.

We will prioritize candidates already located in Denmark. We will not accept candidates outside the EU.
