Your Day-to-DayAs Sales Engineer you report directly to the Area Sales Manager and work closely with local and regional teams. You continuously monitor market developments in the assigned Southeast Asia sales territory and maintain the project pipeline. Your focus is on high-voltage products and turnkey projects. From early project stages to successful order intake you actively drive these opportunities. You develop sales and bidding strategies including pricing, negotiate contracts together with our commercial experts and liaise tightly with Engineering, Tender & Project Management and other expert departments at headquarters. Regular customer visits strengthen existing relationships and create new contacts; you cooperate with our regional subsidiaries to ensure local support.
What You Bring
- Completed degree in electrical engineering with emphasis on high-voltage engineering or comparable qualification
- 5–10 years of relevant sales experience in the electric power transmission market, preferably with turnkey projects
- Proven network among national transmission system operators in Southeast Asia
- Technical expertise in medium- and high-voltage plants or related products
- Willingness to travel internationally and to visit customers and sites regularly
- Intercultural experience gained in previous roles
- Business-fluent English and Thai
- Full work permit for Thailand
