Senior Business Processes Consultant – Project System (PS) Module

A Snapshot of Your Day As the Senior Business Processes Consultant for the Project System (PS) module, you will be the overall process lead for project execution across our entire "Transformation of Industry" division during the SAP S/4 rollout. Your day begins with strategic collaboration spanning multiple business units and countries- each with its own legacy SAP systems and processes. You will guide how these diverse requirements are consolidated, prioritized, and aligned with the corporate global template. Your leadership is key in balancing local needs with enterprise consistency to define scalable solutions, whether through template extensions or alternative approaches outside SAP.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead harmonization and standardization of project execution processes across business units and countries, aligning legacy systems to a single global SAP S/4 template.
• Coordinate closely with business unit process owners to consolidate local needs, conduct gap analysis, and facilitate agreement on solution approaches.
• Drive decisions on template extensions versus non-SAP solutions with corporate template teams to ensure sustainable, compliant processes.
• Act as the primary business area process owner and escalation point for PS-related queries during rollout and post-go-live.
• Support data migration and master data governance by defining consistent master and transaction data objects aligned with diverse business requirements.
• Influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to foster cross-functional teamwork and ensure effective adoption and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, project management, or process consulting with strong expertise in SAP Project System (PS).
• Proven experience leading complex, cross-organizational process harmonization initiatives, preferably in SAP S/4 rollouts or major IT transformations.
• Deep understanding of managing competing local and global requirements across multi-system, multi-country environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively in multinational and multicultural contexts.
• Knowledge of PPG and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) is highly desirable.
• Experience with SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA project system processes and integration.
