Senior Credit Analyst

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Senior Credit Analyst you perform in-depth customer credit risk assessments, support the implementation of credit policies and help develop rating models. You collaborate with internal teams and external service providers, mentor junior analysts and ensure accurate reporting of credit exposures. Your focus is on analysis, risk identification and sound credit decisions for Siemens Energy worldwide.

How You’ll Make a Difference

• Conduct detailed credit analyses based on financial statements, credit data and industry trends
• Set appropriate credit limits and escalate anomalies in automated rating models
• Contribute to development, maintenance and validation of rating & limit models
• Support regional teams with credit queries and liaise with external service providers
• Monitor rating changes and early-warning signals in the customer portfolio
• Prepare reports on credit exposures, trends and KPIs; assist with regulatory filings
• Lead and coach junior analysts

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in credit or financial analysis, preferably in industrial or energy sectors
• Fluency in English; additional languages an advantage
• Deep knowledge of rating methodologies, financial ratios and cash-flow analysis
• Experience with SAP, MS Office and ideally SQL, Tableau or Python
• Strong analytical skills, high accuracy and decision-making ability
