Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform Security Engineering tasks (build, maintain and further develop) in Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS as well as on-prem
• Set up and manage Security Use Cases throughout their lifecycle.
• Develop, execute, and track the performance of security measures to protect information, network infrastructure, devices, and systems.
• Define and continuously improve on the cybersecurity architecture and the needs of the organization.
• Support the different disciplines within the Cyber Defence Centre (and extended Security team).

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

• +5 years or more years work experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or related position.
• Professional practical experience in Security monitoring, detection and response and cyber threat mitigation.
• Experience in and understanding of threat intelligence, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and support for internal investigations.
• Proven experience in developing, operating and maintaining cyber security systems preferably within the aforementioned commercial Cloud Providers as well as within an open source ecosystem.
• Relevant security certifications like CCNP, GIAC, SCA, and CISSP are a plus.

Specific skills:

• Excellent understanding of secure network architectures, enterprise technology infrastructure, cyber security systems and security audits.
• Excellent understanding of cloud technology and cloud management.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, Go, PowerShell and/or similar programming languages.
• Proficiency in workflow automation.
• Understanding of and interest in OT security and infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge in data analytics.
