Senior Strategy Project Manager

A Snapshot of Your Day

Your day begins with a weekly check-in meeting with the Benchmarking team, reviewing achievements and aligning on upcoming priorities. You lead the entire project, ensuring clarity on key activities and challenges. Before lunch, you collaborate on competitor portfolio analysis. In the afternoon, you present project status to business area management and the responsible board member. A short coffee chat with Grid Technologies’ head of portfolio management follows, before travelling to the Power Transformer factory in Nuremberg to define strategic support for the factory head. After a factory tour, you finish the day with a feedback call with your manager.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop strategies for energy transition while ensuring growth and profitability
• Identify key challenges and opportunities in Grid Technologies and shape transformative projects
• Structure and lead strategic projects across complex settings towards clear decisions and impact
• Monitor transformation initiatives and drive corrective actions
• Mentor and develop strategy consultants to strengthen team capabilities

What You Bring

• University degree (Master/Diploma/PhD) in industrial engineering, engineering, sciences or business administration
• Minimum 3 years of management consulting or corporate strategy experience
• Energy industry experience and international project work
• Strong project management, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent English communications skills, German is a plus
• Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
