Service Technician – Harapaki Wind Farm

Your Day in a Nutshell

This permanent role is based at Harapaki Wind Farm, New Zealand. You must live within a one-hour drive of the site.

As a Service Technician you perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines and associated equipment to maximise wind-farm availability. Key tasks:

• Inspect, service and repair turbine towers
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems including pitch, speed control and converter technology
• Manage tools and spare-parts inventory
• Replace worn components and maintain accurate records
• Strictly follow Siemens Gamesa safety standards

What You Bring

• NZ-registered electrical trade qualification and full New Zealand driver licence
• Proven experience in risk assessments and safe-work method statements
• Strong safety and environmental awareness; comfortable working at height
• Physically fit and skilled with tensioning and torque tooling
• Advantageous: wind-industry experience, EST qualification, GWO certification
