Within Vestas you'll be part of the Service department, which oversees executing our maintenance contracts toward Vestas's customers. On a geographical aspect, Vestas Senegal is part of Vestas Africa & Middle east's cluster also part of Vestas MED region.

• This position is located in Thies.

Responsibilities

• Be a safety culture example and ambassador
• Lead and develop an operational team
• Execute contractual obligation and optimize site/asset performance
• Deliver company expectations on its core metrics : Total recordable injury, Lost production factor, Direct costs per megawatt, Planning execution
• Coordinate and be a focal point on behalf of the site with internal or external stakeholders (Contractor, Vestas Technical function, Supply chain, Continuous improvement, lean)
• Follow and implement Vestas corporate social responsibility's plan with the project stakeholders
• Act and behave through Vestas core values : Simplicity, Collaboration, Accountability, and Passion

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, or related fields
• Driving license
• Fluent English
• Significant experience in similar positions within a renowned international company

Competencies

• Sense of responsibility based leadership
• Able to work under challenging and complex environment
• High communication skills
• Comfortable with IT tools (Hardware/Software)
