Technical Lead

The team is under the Global Finance of Vestas Shared Service Centre. The Finance Shared Service Center is comprised of various Finance functions that support Vestas globally. These functions include Purchase to Pay, Travel and Expense, Account to Report, Cash Management, Compliance, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Costing and Inventory, Master Data Management and the Finance Controlling team. This team is expected to have close collaboration with Regional Finance, Payroll, Factory Controllers, Treasury, Procurement, and other functions of the company.

Finance SSC > Global Accounts Receivable and Cash Management > SSC Cash Management

Responsibilities

• Training and Development - facilitate on-boarding new hires and transferees to the team by providing general process overview, knowledge training, and necessary SAP navigation and accesses before endorsing to the team 
• Process Documentation - make sure that the End-User Procedure (EUP) is updated regularly and the latest version is saved on the required storage system 
• Process Improvement - implement standardization, cultivate a continuous improvement mindset, deploy continuous improvement initiatives to meet the current targets and further exceed agreed expectations thereby adding value to the business. Monitor IT/PMCI tickets related to automation, SAP, and Service Now enhancements 
• Data Analysis- When needed, provide reports related to Cash Management processes to identify trends or issues which has an impact on the business or have the potential for improvement 
• Stakeholder Management - you are expected to interact professionally with stakeholders and other business areas or functions to provide high-quality service and effectively communicate with all levels of management to provide reports of operation and project status

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Finance/Management/Accounting 
• 4 to 6 years of post-qualification professional experience 
• Exposure to projects, facilitating training and development is a valuable asset 
• Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles 
• Good background in Accounts Payable and Payment processes 
• Great proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications 
• Exposure to ERP platforms - SAP preferred
