Job Description

Northvolt Poland has an exciting job offer for a Technical Project Manager to join our excellent Engineering team in Gdansk!

This role is a great opportunity for someone who has an understanding of product development processes and project management, a technical interest in test equipment development and a degree in Engineering. You would lead cross-discipline teams and projects - keep track of schedule, activities and stakeholder management. We’re looking for someone who's skilled in organizing tasks, leading people and interacting with multiple disciplines.

In this role, you would...

  • Keep an eye to ensure that requirements and the technical solutions are well specified and feasible for the project to deliver
  • Have the understanding of the importance of establishing a project scope on products and components as far as possible and you align requirements from customers and other stakeholders with the product roadmap.
  • Interface with cross function teams - design, manufacturing, compliance, system test, reliability, supply chain and operations to define and drive development of new product programs, while also managing changes in existing programs.
  • Be responsible for conducting business and technical reviews with leadership and executive teams on a regular basis to communicate and present project status, highlight schedule risk, and develop recovery plans in the event of project slip

The team you would join consists of Systems Engineers and design engineers from various product development disciplines. The purpose of the team is to bring serial production responsibility to the Polish organization, including change management and optimization of existing products.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have...

• A university degree, preferably in Engineering • Minimum 5 years of experience post graduate • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience from projects • Working experience either in Technical Project Management or Engineering • Has worked on several projects and/ or bids, ideally in similar business area • Fluency in English, both in writing and speech

The factory is a highly automated, state-of-the-art production facility for battery modules and energy storage solutions.

We are currently in an exciting fast-growing phase and operate in a dynamic environment, dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. We are staffing our international office in Stockholm, our R&D facility, Northvolt Labs in Västerås, as well as Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, in Gdansk, for production of battery systems. We are also preparing for upcoming positions at the main factory, Northvolt Ett, in Skellefteå.
