Tools Development Engineer

Our Grid connections and Controls team located within the Technology Development, are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Tool Development Engineer for our engineering office at Bangalore, India. You will develop advanced tools for industry leading Grid connections, Wind Turbine Frequency converters and permanent magnet direct drive generators for wind turbines.

Qualification : BTech/ MTech in Electrical (preferable) or Mechanical.

Work Experience : Min 3 years to 6 years

Skills :

• Experience in development of tools in Matlab/ Python/ C++/ C#/ Fortran for cross functional Grid connection, Converter Controls teams.
• Experience working in tools development supporting wind turbine design or software industry and associated domains.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies of software development, Jira, Version control tools, etc.
• knowledge and experience in programming languages like Matlab, Python, C++, C#, C, Fortran
• Good knowledge on electrical generation.

Responsibilities :

• Develop tools in MATLAB along with scripting in Python, C++, C#, C, Fortran.
• Release the tools as per the development, including testing.
• Maintain the tool life cycle.
• Participate in tool Scrum calls.
• Adhere to release schedules.
