Help shape the energy of tomorrow. Hydropower rehabilitation offers exciting projects – we are expanding our expertise in aquatic ecology and fish migration.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Lead projects and provide specialist support on aquatic-ecology issues at hydropower plants (fish passes, hydro-peaking, sediment reactivation)
  • Write expert reports on fish migration and related ecological topics
  • Conduct field surveys, statistical evaluations and data analyses
  • Coordinate projects incl. cost and schedule control
  • Tender, award and manage external engineering & environmental consultancies
  • Communicate with authorities and stakeholder groups

Profile & Requirements

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering or Natural Sciences (ETH/University)
  • Experience with hydropower restoration and/or aquatic-ecology projects preferred
  • Sound knowledge of aquatic ecology, hydrology and hydraulics plus further environmental-engineering topics
  • Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and solid project-management skills desirable
