Your Day at a GlanceAs a Mechanical Fitter at Siemens Energy you will assemble, maintain and refurbish components for small gas turbines. Working at a fixed station within a structured assembly line, you will operate and maintain tools and machinery to meet the highest engineering standards – driving efficient, sustainable energy solutions worldwide.
How You’ll Make an Impact- Operate and maintain machines and equipment used to assemble, strip and re-use turbine components
- Install components and sub-assemblies in accordance with technical documentation
- Carry out quality inspections, identify defects and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Accurately record production data to support performance tracking and process improvement
- Support material movement, packing and handling as required
- Collaborate closely with team and leadership to continuously improve safety, quality and productivity
What You Bring- Experience in mechanical fitting, ideally with rotating equipment
- Level 3 apprenticeship (NVQ & Technical Certificate) preferred; equivalent qualifications or relevant experience also accepted
- Competence in using hand tools, lifting equipment and precision measuring instruments
- High quality and safety awareness with attention to detail
- Ability to follow technical instructions and defined procedures
- Team-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
