As a Mechanical System Engineer within the Service Modernizations & Upgrade(Mods & Ups)organization at Siemens Energy, you will support internal and external customers with yourexpertisein auxiliary systems.

Your role combines daily technical problem-solving with participation in larger delivery projects. A key part of the job is integratingnew designsand solutions with existing systems,ensuring they work seamlessly together.

You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from development and delivery to commissioning and on-site troubleshooting. This offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and broad technical experience in both new installations and upgrade projects.

HowYou’llMake an Impact

• Take ownership of technical adaptations within mechanical auxiliary systems for modernization and upgrade projects focused on decarbonization, efficiency, and performance improvements.
• Identify and define machine-specific spare parts to help our global customers ensure high availability and long-term reliability of their gas turbines.
• Provide technical expertise and investigations to support quotation work for modernization and upgrade solutions.
• Contribute to developing and improving internal processes and ways of working to better meet customer needs.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, supporting both internal teams and customers in technical discussions, questions, and problem-solving.

What You Bring

• You hold a relevant technical degree or have equivalent experience from working with auxiliary engineering, and/or gas turbines. 
• You are comfortable working with various IT systems and tools, and experience with SAP and/or PLM systems is a plus.
• As a person, you are organized, accountable, and take ownership of your tasks.
• You are adaptable and solution-oriented, with the ability to handle different types of assignments and shifting priorities. 
• Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you will work closely with both internal teams and external customers.
• You communicate professionally in English, and proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.

Our 20-member team supports gas turbine aftermarket customers within mechanical auxiliary systems, including gas and liquid fuel systems, lube oil supply, combustion air intake filters, ventilation, and gas detection systems.
