Role Snapshot
Own the design, development, commissioning and maintenance of instrumentation & electrical systems, focusing on mathematical modelling, dynamic analysis and control-theory-based optimisation of FACTS plants.

Key Responsibilities

Engineer control logic and programs for various FACTS solutions
Set up factory test benches and configure control hardware & software
Prepare design reports, test protocols and O&M manuals
Provide after-sales support for commissioned systems
Expertise in open-loop control, substation components, protocols (IEC 61850, IEC 104/101, DNP 3.0, Modbus) and cybersecurity
Skilled in MATLAB/Simulink, SICAM Device Manager/Toolbox, WinCC, HMI, Beckhoff controllers and SICAM A8000 hardware
Willingness for extended site assignments (5–6 continuous months) across India and abroad at short notice; shared basic accommodation and transport

Required Qualifications

B.E. in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
2–4 years of relevant experience engineering control logic for FACTS solutions
Prior FACTS project exposure preferred
