Working Student (f/m/d) Gas Turbine M&U Engineering – Fuel Analysis Focus

Your role in daily business

As a working student you support the Gas Turbines M&U Engineering Operations Team to safeguard business continuity. You analyse fuel data, prepare specifications and assist in technical documentation, gaining insight into the maintenance and modernization of heavy-duty gas turbines.

Your tasks

• Analyse and evaluate fuel data and generate fuel specifications and technical reports
• Research alternative and sustainable fuels (e.g. hydrogen) via literature and database searches
• Process measurement data and compare results with theoretical models
• Maintain and update technical databases and documentation
• Support the engineering team in day-to-day tasks including administrative and organisational duties
• Help prepare presentations and technical documents for internal and external audiences

Your profile

• Currently enrolled in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering or similar at a German university
• Basic knowledge of thermodynamics and combustion, analytical mindset
• Sound MS Office skills, especially Excel
• First programming experience, ideally Python
• Structured, self-reliant working style with high willingness to learn
• Very good German and good English written and spoken
