Wind Turbine Installation Manager- Greece

Region MED > Customer Project Execution, MED > Installation GR, Cyprus, Israel 

The Construction department is in charge of the construction of wind projects (EPC) and installation and commissioning of the wind turbines (supply & installation) under contracts sold by the sales department.

Responsibilities:

Safety:

• Responsible for implementation of Vestas HSE rules & programs both internally and towards subcontractors
• Responsible for implementation of site specific Vestas Quality Control Plan fulfilling general Vestas quality Systems toward subcontractor
• Follow non-conformity  to guarantee all necessary actions are taken to solve the identified problems
• Follow the Installation Supervisor to cross-inspection with subcontractor on installed turbines in order to verify correct application of work instructions and quality specifications
• Handles registration of performed activities on the Installation Service Inspection Forms (SIF's) according to Vestas Quality standards
• Operational:
• Coordinate with transport and sub-contractors on delivery schedule
• Updating status/provide input to project plan
• Monitor Subcontractor team numbers for execution

Scope:

• Awareness of local legal requirements i.e. working hours
• Daily supervision and progressing of installation activities performed by external resources ensuring the fulfillment of project execution (health, safety, quality and time)
• and contractual obligations by subcontractor
• Verify with Installation Supervisor and Supplier initial inventory of received goods and materials (tools, site parts, consumables) and hand-over to subcontractor. Ensure Tools good working order with current calibration certificate
• Verify with Installation Supervisor and Supplier final inventory of the equipment and parts after completion of site works
• Supervise installation in compliance with Vestas installation manual and technical specifications

Qualifications:

• Advanced IT skills, e.g. MS Office, MS Project user or key user
• 3-5 years' experience within the installation or construction of wind farms
• Knowledge of the English language
• Willing to work in projects all over Europe/worldwide
• Driving License

• Team supervision
