Your tasks

• Design, write and optimise efficient SQL models to transform operational data into reliable, analysable datasets
• Build, maintain and extend our BI platform by creating LookML views, dimensions and KPIs; develop scalable data models for accurate reporting
• Design and develop intuitive, meaningful dashboards in Looker that enable stakeholders to track KPIs, analyse trends and make data-driven decisions
• Analyse and fix bugs in SQL queries and LookML code, solve data issues and continuously improve performance and data quality
• Develop new calculations and analyses to expand our reporting capabilities and deliver actionable insights for various teams
• Work closely with Data, Product and Operations teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Your profile

• Currently studying Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Business Analytics or a comparable quantitative programme
• Good SQL skills and understanding of JOINs vs UNIONs
• Analytical mindset, enjoy solving complex problems and eye for detail
• Strong initiative, willingness to learn and curiosity for new technologies
• Clear, concise communication in German (spoken & written)
