Security Specialist for Digital Finance & Regulatory Requirements

A snapshot of your day:

As a Security Specialist for Digital Finance & Regulatory Requirements, you will assist on a broad spectrum of cyber security support requests from Siemens Energy finance functions, helping move cybersecurity activities forward. You will also participate in developing internal cyber security capabilities and strategy engaging pro-actively to strengthen the organization’s overall cyber security posture.

You bring extensive knowledge and experience in securing finance systems like SAP Finance Accounting or treasury management system. The aim is to develop effective security solutions to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of sensitive financial data while meeting regulatory requirements.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Define with IT a company-wide reference architecture for SAP
• Definition of Architecture principles, standards & guardrails, reference architectures, good practices
• Develop and implement security policies and solutions that align with regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations in the financial sector
• Conduct security assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with other teams and Executive Management to meet business and security requirements

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience in implementing security solutions and policies in systems (at least 5 years)
• Demonstrated experience in SAP S/4 HANA implementations (not indispensable but a plus)
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards within the financial sector
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex security concepts clearly
• Ability to effectively manage stakeholders at different levels and align expectations and requirements
• Team-oriented with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary and international environment
