Job Description

We are looking for a passionate logistics talent to join us as Senior Logistics Project Manager in our mission to contribute to a greener future. You will be part of our passionate and excellent Logistics team working in office placed in Gdańsk.

About the role

Senior Logistics Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the successful planning, execution, and completion of logistics development projects. This role involves coordinating efforts across various teams and stakeholders to ensure the readiness, efficient and effective implementation of logistics solutions. Additionally, the Project Manager serves as the primary interface with the customer for all logistics-related topics, collecting and understanding logistics customer requirements​.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Developing comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements,
• Guiding project teams in executing logistics development initiatives,
• Supporting and coaching logistics specialists to ensure timely deliveries,
• Offering innovative and efficient resolutions to challenges,
• Utilizing extensive expertise in supply chain and project management to effectively address and resolve a wide range of problems,
• Working with wider supply chain organization and Northvolt PMO to achieve goals in creative and effective ways,
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and addressed,
• Allocating resources efficiently to meet project objectives,
• Tracking project expenses and report on budget variances,
• Acting as the face of the project when interfacing with customers,
• Regularly assessing customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain or Project Management related field ,
• 7+ years of experience in relevant field,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience in MS Project or project management tools,
• Excellent written and oral English command.

Northvolt is a European supplier of sustainable, high-quality battery cells and systems. Northvolt Ett is a next generation battery cell factory focused on process innovation, scale and vertical integration. Once completed, the gigafactory will be one of the largest battery cell factory in Europe and produce at least 32 GWh of capacity annually.

Alongside Northvolt Ett, Northvolt is also establishing a manufacturing site for battery systems in Gdansk, Poland. This facility, Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, will industrialize and produce world leading battery systems in order to meet the increased demand for complete battery solutions on the European market. The factory is a highly automated, state-of-the-art production facility for battery modules and energy storage solutions.

We are currently in an exciting fast-growing phase and operate in a dynamic environment, dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. We are staffing our international office in Stockholm, our R&D facility, Northvolt Labs in Västerås, as well as Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, in Gdansk, for production of battery systems. We are also preparing for upcoming positions at the main factory, Northvolt Ett, in Skellefteå.
