Industrial Gas Turbine New Unit Commissioning Engineer MGT

Your Day-to-Day

As part of the MGT Field Service team you will commission medium-size industrial gas turbines on site, covering both mechanical and electrical scopes. Your responsibilities include executing turbine commissioning, liaising with customers and project teams, and handling related administrative and logistics tasks.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Commission industrial gas turbines including generator synchronisation
• Interface with customers and project management
• Prepare reports and maintain up-to-date documentation
• Lead field-service crews after certification

What You Bring

• BSc or MSc in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Energy Engineering
• Knowledge of control systems (PCS7, T3000 preferred)
• Solid mechanical and electrical understanding; high-voltage know-how is a plus
• English (intermediate+), strong MS Office skills
• Availability for business trips up to 10–12 weeks
• Independent, quality-focused, decisive personality with leadership potential
• Team player, highly adaptable, open to other cultures
• Residence in Hungary (Hungarian address card) for international assignments; relocation to Budapest not required
• Valid category B driving licence
