Your Day With Us
As HVDC Solution Architect (f/m/d) you define the technical strategy and overall solution for global on- and offshore HVDC projects. You craft technical offer strategies, align them with business targets and ensure portfolio compatibility. By analysing customer requirements early, you guide advanced and commercially viable solutions. In close cooperation with sales, tendering, commercial, legal and project management you integrate multidisciplinary know-how from day one. You foster a positive project culture and communicate clearly, openly and proactively.

How You Create Impact

• Capture customer requirements and synchronise them with the solution portfolio during pre-acquisition and acquisition
• Lead, develop and coordinate the overall technical solution across international resources
• Define technical strategy: holistic techno-commercial solution incorporating lessons learned and focusing on risk mitigation and quality assurance
• Identify market trends and R&D needs
• Active participation in international committees

What You Bring

• University degree in electrical engineering or comparable technical field
• At least 10 years of relevant HVDC or FACTS experience
• Knowledge of project and contract management as well as experience in international technical standardisation preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills for capturing customer needs and providing added value in international teams
• Negotiation strength, interface management, team and leadership competence
• Excellent English skills, German skills desirable
