Your day at a glance
Within the global procurement organization you independently perform NDT and dimensional inspections on components for generators and gas & steam turbines – mainly at supplier sites. You verify compliance with specifications, review documentation and clearly describe any deviations. In case of discrepancies, you communicate technical findings and agree on next steps with the cross-functional team.

How you make an impact

Plan, execute and follow-up NDT on cast and welded turbine components
Qualify and develop suppliers to continuously improve component quality
Design preventive actions to avoid quality issues at suppliers
Apply quality methods (5-Why, FMEA, 8D, RCA) for root-cause analysis
Initiate, monitor and drive corrective and preventive actions with suppliers

What you bring

Technical degree or vocational training, preferably CWI/CWE or similar
Several years of NDT experience on cast & welded components
ISO 9712 certification VT, MT, PT, UT minimum Level II
Proficient in MS-Office and SAP
Negotiation-level German and English; willing to travel nationally and internationally
