Working Student Data Engineering & Analytics – Energy Operations (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Working Student (15–20 h/week) to join our Tech team in Berlin, Munich or Hamburg.

1KOMMA5° is building Germany’s largest one-stop-shop platform for sales, installation and service of solar PV, heat pumps, electricity solutions and charging infrastructure – all intelligently connected.

Your responsibilities

• Own and maintain data pipelines across energy operations, from smart-meter installation to market connection.
• Build and maintain Looker reports on smart-meter data, energy delivery, optimisation and billing for our Dynamic Pulse tariff.
• Ensure integrity and availability of core operational data sets.
• Extend our Python codebase to automate operational analyses and improve data quality.

Your profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Informatics or related field.
• Solid SQL skills for selecting, joining and transforming operational data.
• First hands-on coding experience (Python preferred).
• Experience with Looker or similar BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Fluent German and English.
• 15–20 hours per week.
